Tasseled

In honor of feeling like a curtain lately (because moms open and close things repetitively) I decided to draw a fashion illustration with a tasseled denim top. Disclaimer: this one is from two years ago so you probably won't find it. On the bright side, they're coming back in style and you can find an alternative to the denim top with some tasseled detail here and here.
But I don't want this just to be about the "latest trend." Sure, it's cool and new, but life is so much more than what's in and current. A tassel for example, is something dainty that brushes across fabric. Like a tassel, we each have a unique and dainty detail about ourselves that allows us to stand out and to change the world. If you're reading this, I want you to know that there is something truly beautiful inside of you. Whether you're an artist, great at encouraging people, or love to clean, you have a gift and it's worth something. Don't settle for what people tell you you should be. Instead, believe that you can love people and help others with the gifts God gave you. You're important. Press into God and let him show you what your tassel is. Let him shine through your talent.
