Rips + Patches

If there's two simple summer ways to wear some ripped denim it would probably have to be with a jean jacket (which I don't own and still don't understand why) or with a fancy top (because juxtaposition is a nice take on fashion). This week I've been liking this unif denim color blocked jacket from Urban Outfitters (that happens to be sold out :(, but check it out for real via Pinterest). The jeans were inspired by these and there's some more happy findings on this blogger's website.
To be honest, I'm always living in denim, which is mainly why I started this blog. It's my go to for easy comfort, especially baggy ripped denim. It's easy going, effortless, and extremely breathable. My mom also always comments on how "when I was young, we used to wait for our jeans to get this way, not buy them this way," which always ends with my eyeroll or a mutter about how it's fashionable. Yes, I am guilty of buying jeans that have been distressed on purpose, but who isn't??
